This piece comes from the Woven Vessel Collection. In this collection I play with strong and grounding glazed ceramic, pairing it with softer woven tops made using a basket weaving technique.
In this particular piece we have a large white speckled glazed bottom which transitions into the soft fiberous sage yarn by use of thin creamy reed.
I love the chunky yet softnes of the yarn and how it is spaced around the ceramic rim and inbetween each reed spoke so that it moves stright up - the perfect fitting.
